Gugulethu Mbatha (better known as Gugu-Mbatha-Raw) is an British actor and film actress who became famous after she appeared in the BBC series "Doctor Who", which is a British science-fiction TV series. Gugu became famous for her role as Tish Jones. The character was her sister. Chelsea Joy Handler was born on February 25, 1975, in Livingston, New Jersey. She was the eldest of six children in the family. Handler grew up with a family comprised of six children. Her mother was employed at home and her father was a dealer of used vehicles. Her mother was a German immigrants who arrived in the United States in 1958. Handler was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1989 and passed away after fighting cancer for 10 years. Handler was raised in an Reform Judaism family. Her father was Jewish. Handler resided in a beautiful neighborhood with a happy upbringing. At the age of 19 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Handler was a professional actress in order to help her. Handler aged at the age of 21 and decided to pursue stand-up comics full time after discovering her storytelling skills.
