Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on February 22, 1983. She is an American actor and comedian. She was the winner of 2008's Last Comic Standing and went on to host the dating show syndicated to TBS Excused and the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.
Shlesinger hosted Truth and Iliza in a late-night talk show on Freeform in 2017. From 2022, she's released six comedy specials for Netflix. Netflix introduced the sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April 2020.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to a Jewish family in New York City. [6] She was brought to Dallas, Texas by her parents who moved to Texas when she was a baby. She was a student at Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. In there, she learned Spanish, and was part the school's improvisation team.
Shlesinger appeared on ComedySportz Dallas. She also went to the University of Kansas her freshman year. She was also part of the cast in Semester at Sea. She then transferred to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, where she majored in film. She also honed writing and editing skills, and joined one of the campus's comedy sketch groups, Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

After graduating from college, Shlesinger relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy. Shlesinger was a renowned member of the Whiteboy Comedy standup comedy group in Los Angeles. This brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
