Storage Wars (stylized as STORAGE WAR$) is an American reality television show which airs on the A&E network. It aired initially for 12 seasons. The first season aired on December 1st 2010 and concluded on January 30th, 2019. The 13th season began airing in April 2021.



 



 If a storage facility remains empty for longer than 3 months, it is able to be sold by an auctioneer in one sale in the form of a cash-only auction. The auction follows professional buyers who go to storage locations across the state and place bids on these lockers. Before each locker is auctioned the bidders are allowed five minutes to scrutinize the contents from the doorway, but may not enter the locker or touch any of the items.
